So we are working on a revision of our counter-terrorism game "Terror Network". It was our first book and remains our most popular. Our goal is to massage some of the rules and make the presentation more exciting and in-depth. It is going to be backwards compatible so people can use our existing modules, but things that need clear tweaks will receive them.
I am hoping to get some reader feedback and suggestions as I think about the revision effort. So anyone who is interested drop me a line and we will send you a comp PDF of the rule book, the agency guide and our module "The Patriot Incident". There are lots of options and new material in the agency guide which will be incorporated into final revision of the rules (for example we expanded the mandate mechanic which handles calling in favors from your agency). Right now we expect the revision to be larger than the original (probably 190 pages total).
Let me take a look at TN and get back to you, Brendan.

Thanks, Brendan! I'm pretty sure I have 'em all, but now I don't have to look for 'em! :D

I'd love to pitch in. Email address in my .sig.
Do you want any discussion to happen here or just through e-mail?

Through email is best for me.
I do have one thought based on your later games if you'd like it.
I believe you have my email already, though? :)

Definitely send it along.
I wonder what happened to my Servants of Gaius ad that I put up here...
I'm not entirely certain what system this is for, but I have made something of a hobby (in addition to a minor professional interest) into actual terror networks... so I'd be interested...

Spike, pm me your email address and I will get you a pdf.
Terror Network uses the network system, which is a d10 dice pool skill-based system (same one we use for Servants of Gaius----pundit has a review up now that gives an accurate description of the system).
totally unnecessary "PM Sent" Post.... ;)

Got it. You should get the link by tonight or in the morning.
Got it. RPGnow is a nuisance, so I paid the 'I'm lazy tax' on the two supplements then bother going through the entire process three times to use all the coupons.
-Spike, doing his part to support the hobby out of sheer inertia.

Thanks Spike. I too have paid the lazy tax at times.
np. you want me to convert the main book to a word document and go at it like an english professor on a meth bender?
or would you rather I just make some notes about systemic stuff and pass those along?
:D

Notes is easier, as I am going to retype much of it from scratch most likely. This is a long term project for me.
The only thing to keep in mind is this will be backwards compatible so while we may alter things like skill descriptions or refurbish some of the stuff like mandates (using some of the concepts introduced in the agency guide) we want to keep the core static enough that you can run old modules with the new book.
Sure. I started in on it yesterday, but I didn't get much past the opening chapter. Since I'm putting myself on official hiatus from the main forum as of last night I should make better progress today.
:)
