This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Standard page count for a module

Is there an industry standard for adventure module size?  I've seen references to 32 page or 26 page.  My guess is that set page counts come to us from the print days where publisher were looking to print whole signatures: sort of like how children's books are 24, 32, or 48 pages.

I haven't paid much attention to my published pdfs on DTRPG, but as I get closer to wanting to put something in actual print, should I be looking for a set page count or just make sure I'm ending on a multiple of 8?

S'mon

Old TSR modules were 32 pages. Because of how a big sheet of paper cuts up into little sheets: 2-4-8-16-32-64. This is no longer an issue with POD printing afaict.
