This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Seeking Playtesters

Cave Bear

I'm looking for people to help me playtest an adventure module compatible with OSR D&D.
The adventure features a clock tower in a fantastic version of Antarctica.

I can run a game on Google+ if people are up for it, but I'd prefer to get other referees to run this on their own so I can get their feedback.

Thanks.

What're the intended levels for it?  Any special requirements?

It's intended for high level adventurers about levels 7-8 in oldschool D&D.
It doesn't include a map for the wilderness adventure at the moment. Instead it requires the DM to use a real-life map of Antarctica and place the encounter areas wherever the DM thinks they should go.

Daztur

I've been giving feedback to Cave Bear about this adventure and it looks pretty fun. It's sort of in the LotFP tradition of adventure modules in that there's a lot of tricks but with a central rationale tying stuff together but without going out of its way to fuck with PCs like a lot of Raggi adventures do.

Not really sure this is the best sub forum for getting replies for this though...

Yeah, Daztur is a great editor.

What would be a better subforum for this?

This is the right forum, both for editorial replies and for actual gameplay reports.
