This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

1974 in an parallel universe, creative synapses are firing in an American basement:

Beardy Guy 1, "The stat is called 'Robbing Dungeons' (roll 1d6, add this to robbing rolls), it's how good you are at robbing dungeons. Each dungeon has a rating (roll 3d6, add highest Robbing Dungeons stat in party) to roll over on 1d20 for success. Roll an unmodified 20 and you now own that dungeon, Roll an unmodified 1 and you die in the attempt."

Beardy Guy 2, "So, you roll on it to rob a dungeon, then after successfully doing so you add +1 to the 'Robbing Dungeons' stat to show you're getting more experienced at robbing dungeons. Dungeons you own have a dungeon rating equal to your Robbing Dungeons stat at the time of robbing. Play it solo or as a group, where - at any time, you can attempt to rob your fellow players dungeons. At the end of the game session, when the pizza/beer runs out - each player adds up: Robbing Dungeons stat + amount of dungeons owned, highest score is the winner "

Beardy Guy 1, "And there could be a supplement Robbing Spaceships and Planets."

Beardy Guy 3, "How about lots of random tables to tell you details of who and what you're robbing !"

Beardy Guy, 1 + 2 "An Advanced Edition !"

Form the group wisely, make sure you share goals and means.
Set norms of table etiquette early on.
Encourage attentive participation and speed of play so the game will stay vibrant!
Allow that the group, milieu and system will from an organic symbiosis.
Most importantly, have fun exploring the possibilities!

Robbing Dungeons is okay but I prefer the more streamlined and versatile  Monostat system.
