This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Mutant Future does Fallout: Resources and rules thread

So, I just kicked off a Mutant Future campaign in the style of Fallout.  The main area I'm going to be developing is the Broken Hills (not the Fallout 2 location, but the region for which it's named - the town in F2 is on the very western edge of this area).  It's basically bracketed on the west by "The Core Region" (i.e., the area covered by the first two games, Cali and western NV), on the south by New Vegas (covered in the game of the same name), and on the east by the area that was to have been covered in "Van Buren" - the never-completed "Fallout 3" that was in development by Black Isle, not the 3d title of the same name that was later realeased by Bethesda (this is basically an area bounded in a triangle between Hoover Dam, Salt Lake City, and Denver).

Since I'm scraping together resources with both hands for this, I may as well keep'em all in one place.

Been a while (got sidetracked with a coding project), but here's s'more:

This is a series of 8 percentile random item tables, all in PDF format and printer-ready.  Ostensibly for RIFTS, but very clearly Fallout-based (items such as the G.E.C.K., bio-med gel, a Fallout 2 hint book, etc.).  Good stuff - just the kind of thing you want to have when PCs are rummaging through ruined buildings looking for salvage.
