This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Isn't that a bottle of Ketchup I see on the table next to you? And Ice Tea? WTF? :D

Peregrin

Thank you guys.  After spending the last hour arguing with my boss (on a Sunday, no less), I really, really needed this. :D
"In a way, the Lands of Dream are far more brutal than the worlds of most mainstream games. All of the games set there have a bittersweetness that I find much harder to take than the ridiculous adolescent posturing of so-called \'grittily realistic\' games. So maybe one reason I like them as a setting is because they are far more like the real world: colourful, crazy, full of strange creatures and people, eternal and yet changing, deeply beautiful and sometimes profoundly bitter."

My usual group prefers pretzels or potato chips....sometimes fancy chocolate.

Cheetos are frowned upon because they get your fingers all orange tinted which then puts strange-looking marks on the character sheets and other paperwork.

Here's the full picture.  Note the glass of Puligny-Montrachet 05 off to the right.

And I warn you, next Igbar session (which comes up in about 2.5 weeks, due to a couple of weddings) I'll get a picture of the wreckage for you.

Well EX-cuse me, mister. That is a fine choice indeed! What did you have with it?

Cheetos, pizza and coke stains on character sheets give them... character.

Greasy mess is just part of the ambience. That's why game books are made with glossy pages these days - easy wipe.

This is a very old saying around here. Stained character sheets have more personality.
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).
