This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

We are taking ideas for the next world supplement in our 1d8 system.  What we want to know is:
What campaign world have you wanted but not seen, or just not seen done well?

This is, contrary to what one may think, not an easy question to answer for people who are potential or actual game-makers themselves.

I once asked a similar question on two other sites, and more or less repeated it, but with some perhaps notable changes, on this site, too ... and currently, you are the only one that has answered me in that thread.
I did not quite understand why, until i read your post here.
1: Creators prefer to not tell other creators what to do, unless the questions are far more specific.
2: Creators prefer to make the games themselves, for different reasons.

However, i will suggest a few that i might try to make as well, later ... or perhaps not.
Why? Simply put, your interpretation may be different than mine anyway. ;)
* Fright Race
It is a mix between: Happenings in and around a futuristic racing contest, Road Warrior, and the 80's animated series called "Jayce and the Wheeled warriors" ... (the series in itself is not very good, but the ideas of huge monsters shapeshifting into some kind of plant-looking cars/tanks has notable potential).
I can leave this suggestion to you, because i'm not very good at racing mechanisms, currently.
* Monster Mash.
Monsters are feared ... but there are also monsters that are "good guys".
I may not dislike D&D any longer, but I still dislike the Chaos-Lawful/Evil-Good alignment system, as well as the level system.
;)
