Title: New Rules Design: Do these make sense, looking for feedback

OVERVIEW
A customized quick and simple UGS-d10 (Unnamed Generic System) campaign setting for an urban fantasy RPG set in a fictional world much like the WARMACHINE miniatures war game, and the Iron Kingdoms RPG.

SYSTEM (d10)

Each character is rated in each of the five primary skills of the game by how thoroughly they succeed or fail at their current task based on the d10 roll. For each skill they have a success mode, and a failure mode as shown occupying a quadrant of 1 - 10:  

Failure: Spectacular Failure (SF) 1, Typical Failure (TF) 2 - 5,
Partial Failure (PF)

Success: Partial Success (PS) , Typical Success (TS) 6 - 9, Spectacular Success (SS) 10.

~UGS (http://www.1km1kt.net/rpg/UGS.php) was developed by Craig Daniel and adapted to fit Mekanika~  The rules are desiged to be simple to learn and allow for more time playing (the link provides a downloadable pdf of the original rule system).

Playable characters are made up of; one of the five character classifications, five core competencies, five assigned life scores, one to three 1 point roll boosters, seventy five hit points, and a dice roll determined bank.  

MEKANIKA
In Mekanika arcane magic and the refinement of technology such as steam power, clockworks, and firearms arose at roughly the same time, and complement each other.  This has set up something of a steampunk version of the atypical fantasy RPG in a similar way that Shadowrun has heavy Cyberpunk influences.  

Sword and Sorcery meets Steampunk mechanics with automatronic armored drones, vehicles, armor, weapons, and lots and lots of adventure.
