This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I just recently started making an RPG based on Post-Apocalyptic survival, I haven't gave it a name as of yet, but its a work in progress. So far all I have is a rough draft for the Attributes/Stats

Primary

Strength:
Fortitude:
Agility:
Perception:
Intellect:
Charisma:
Chance:

Secondary(based off primary's)

Resilience(STR/FORT)
Defense(FORT/AGI)
Reflexes(AGI/PER)
Awareness(PER/INT)
Willpower(INT/CHA)
Presence(CHA/STR)

Health(Heath Points)
Energy(Daily Action Allowance)

Then this is a new idea im thinking of using a "Sims" Style "Statues System" using an UP and DOWN Fluctuation tracker that the player has to maintain.

The Ups (They go up, the lower the better)

Stress
Hunger
Fatigue
Disease

Downs (They go down, the higher the better)

Mental Stability
Sleep
Nutrition
Hydration

Now nothing here is final this is merely just me brainstorming for ideas. Any input would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Why not focus on your ups/downs (sliding scales), and use some more descriptive terms for physical/mental action abilities. For example Bob may be "Very Strong" which is great, until his Hunger and Stress interfere?

Rather than standard array ability scores. Primary because you'll be tracking a lot of different numbers, and that makes the PC look like an excel sheet.
