This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Since it works on long-arms, flexible weapons -- and axes -- it has something to do with getting around shields, not necessarily powering through them or destroying the shields. It goes around or goes through, but regardless strikes true; it is not put off by barriers.

Go for something simple, like "seeking."

Then work it into a hierarchical word format that's all the rage these days: Follow < Seek < Chase < Hunt < Pursue

Then you can go all Diablo on us with appelations at beginning and end. :p
Chasing Axe of Amelioration
Following Flail of Finance
Pursuing Partisan of Petulance

It'll read off like most book titles of fantasy fiction!:D

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

After much contemplation, argument and a vote, the winner was:

Do not worry my friend. He shall regret this the first time his player makes a critical hit and makes a joke about heart bypass.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

Pft, Alamo, rightful part of Mexico*!

I am reminded of an old joke on the subject though, which I might as well share seeing the drift of the thread:

A plane carrying UN diplomats suddenly had one of it's engines burst. After throwing everything out, the captain announces that 3 more people'll need to jump for them to make the flight, and there are no parachutes.

First comes up the French diplomat, and proudly exclaims:
'Remember the Austerlitz!' and he jumps.
Then comes up a Russian diplomat, and proudly exclaims:
'Remember the glory of communism!' and he jumps.
Then comes up an American diplomat, and proudly exclaims:
'Remember the Alamo!' and tosses the Mexican diplomat out.

*There was a large Polish contingent of mercenaries during the battle of Alamo...on Mexican side.
