I am working on a OSR style, well maybe Retro style anyways rpg system. It should seem familiar to some, anyways here is a link to some of what I have done thus far:

And the character sheet for it:

I will post more as it comes out. If you can figure it out, and I think most here can, give it a whirl and give me the brass tacks on what you think.
Looks like a Basic clone? It obviously needs some explanations to understand what you are trying to do differently.
Also, using artwork without the artists permission is generally a bad thing - even for free supplements. I would suggest concentrating on the mechanics and fleshing that part out before you worry about artwork.

Seems like my earlier reply didn't make it. To answer your questions, and thank you for posting, the artwork is just a place holder. I am slowly acquiring royalty free artwork and will be placing in when I can.
The premise behind the game play is like you pointed out a basic clone for the most part, with some more advanced rules. The first part will cover levels 1-3 and the goal is to accumulate wealth and pay off debts to your patrons (xp for gold) so you can be a freeman. The characters are essentially nobody's at this point so development of your character takes place during play and leveling up.
An expansion will be levels 4+ in which your character can branch off into a sub class and be free to roam and do the big epic stuff.
I am providing some materiel to get a game going with minimal prep, but have purposely left much open ended so a GM can customize or use pre-existing adventures to fill in the blanks.
Outstanding! Look forward to reading more of your updates.
