This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Playtester Call for Implosion!

Would you like to be part of something simple but special?

Play Implosion! - the RPG where your dice don't explode, they implode!

Play Implosion! - the RPG where you can turn into a fox, a badger or a roe deer! Nobody suspects a roe deer...

A game of high adventure, where with sword, shield and spell you confront the monsters of the Netherdark, Limbo and the Inferno.

A game that doesn't take itself too seriously.

A game where you, the player, get to decide, as the mood takes you, whether you want to be a Storygamer or a Roleplayer! Yes, you too can have the Batpenisman and the Pundit in a spin, not knowing what they are looking at! Is it a storygame? Is it a roleplaying game? It's whatever you want it to be! ;-)

Roll up your hero in minutes, and playtest the Implosion! RPG - you might be the first in the world!

Seriously, dude. I came up with the idea for this game on the 16th of January 2016, and in barely 3 weeks I have finished the 179-page PDF, including rudimentary formatting and proof-reading. I would like to say that I had playtested it, but that would be a fib. By the way, when I say 179 pages, that's 12-point Arial font, US Trade size, so it's not a huge word count.

As yet there is no artwork. As yet there is no index. In fact, there are about 37 pages "missing" where artwork ought to be. (Otherwise it would be, um, 216 pages long...)

Come in at the beginning and make the game's history!

I want your no-punches-pulled feedback! I want it online and public! I want your Actual Play reports littering the forums of the online roleplaying world like turkey sandwiches after Christmas! Give me your premature reviews! I want the hype! I want the hate! I want the love!

Give it all to Implosion!

If you PM me I can send you the 3MB PDF by e-mail or give you the private link to download it from Lulu. All I want is your commitment to play it and post your feedback in some form, somewhere!

You can also get the character sheets in US Letter format.

Cheers
I did not write this but would like to mention it:-

I did however write this Player\'s Quickstarter for the forthcoming Soul\'s Calling RPG, free to download here, and a bunch of other Soul\'s Calling stuff available via Lulu.

As for this, I can\'t comment one way or the other on the correctness of the factual assertions made, but it makes for chilling reading:-

This is now called Implodarc to be more distinctive - may the "story arc" implode! :-)

Still looking for more playtesters, anyone vaguely interested please get in touch.

Thanks
