Have a go at it. Don't be shy - dunk the clown and win a prize.

I might be more interested if I had at least half a clue what you were talking about.
Sorry Narf!
I've been posting APs here, and figured anyone who would be intrigued had been reading them. It's American submarine officers in WWII.

Hmm...The idea doesn't grab me as presented, sorry.

Cool. Don't blame you. I doubt anyone here but maybe David R would be in the least interested as presented, and I don't do the elevator pitch thing.

Yeah, I'm interested. For some time now I have wanted to do a Clint Eastwood Flags of Our Fathers/Letters from Iwo Jima type campaign. "Strictly historical" if you know what I mean.... with none of my "alt subversions". I think a shadow war between American and Japanese* members of the Silent Service played out in the depths of the oceans, sounds pretty interesting.
*Haven't done my research yet, but I think they had the largest fleet during WWII. I could be mistaken.

David R

There were several nations that had large and powerful submarine fleets during WWII - the Japanese were one. However, I designed the game around Americans in the Pacific. I was originally going to do my standard "you can be from any one of these nations" thing, like in Aces And Angels, but for this, the complexity floored me. I figured I could always release supplements detailing the other fleets.
BTW - Watching Flags and Letters back to back was awesome. You sometimes see and recognize the actors in the other film from the opposite perspective. Fascinating!

I'll give it a shot -- my group is looking for something new to play. 'Pigboats' maybe strange enough...
