Ok, one of my intended game attempts is called
Ferals.
It is mainly intended to be set in (alternate) modern day, and focuses on "human animals", mainly the mammals within the cat - wolf range and similar.
These "ferals" may be treated as anything from pets to full citizens, from outsiders to generally respected.
Some are actual hybrids, some are "enhanced animals", and some are just humans ... or used to be before their surgery.
Anyway, i think somehow, that even though that should be special enough to keep the game interesting, it seems to me that something is missing ....
I have reasoned with myself, and tried a few ideas, but come to the result that what it is truly lacking is a major plot, that is constantly prestent, like a main enemy, or something that makes people question the reason for the existance of the ferals, or that the ferals really is meant to be some kind of soldiers in a war against Demons, Cultists, or Deep(Lovecraftian)Ones...
However, i'm not really sure which "edge" i should choose at the moment ....
Do anyone have any suggestions?
We are working on a colaborative deisgn that uses hybrid human animals in a sci fi setting as a main character type take a look at that or join in.
I have a doc for it that shoudl be ready to post up at the end of this week.

If you are, i have looked a little, but i felt dicouraged when i noticed how far you lot had gotten, mainly because i'm not sure if the game system you have agreed on matches my own vision of an "Fast to create Characters, effectively dealt with combat, and still detailed enough in skills and such" - game.
You obviously had the same intentions when starting up, but i did not read enough to see if the respective systems would mesh .... i might come with non-rulesspecific ideas, though ...
However, for my own game i'm still looking for a specific "main background-plot" ... i might look at you collaborative work, though.
