This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

You're welcome :)

Quote from: The Butcher;710896You might want to look into Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea and/or Realms of Crawling Chaos to supplement the bestiary with ready-made Mythos beasties.
I don't have AS&S yet; I do have RoCC, and I'll convert some of the mythos monsters to ACKS (not necessarily directly from there). There might even be a Sea Blood (AKA 'Insmouth Look') Proficiency for ACKS in the works!

Here is the part of the Barbarian Conqueror King campaign map I intend to use as the Regional map for my ACKS game. Detailed are Harat, Yimara and the wilderness between them. I'll make a fully-blown regional map out of this later.

Lookin' good! Is this an OSR mechanic?
Here for the games, not for it being woke or not.

Thanks!

This is for the Adventurer Conqueror King System, which is a quasi-clone of B/X D&D, so yes, in a sense this is OSR.

Autarch has agreed to publish the Barbarian Conqueror King setting and rules (as well as the Sword & Sorcery Monsters) as a supplement to the Adventurer Conqueror King System (ACKS). We signed the agreement yesterday!

Time to start writing!

Your original post on the genre, setting, and whatnot was really cool.  I've never played ACK, just wanted to give you a thumb's up.

Quote from: golan2072;710843Final Lizardman Race for ACKS:

A year late, but I would keep the Level 0 and 1 lizardfolk as lizardfolk, but they'd be weaker or smaller/less grown ones, and gaining the other levels would allow them to grow into strength/adulthood.

This. I plan to go back to school to get a better job, and need to scrounge up money/help paying for it, so ACK will be a long ways off for me.
