This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

It's not for sale or download so don't ask

I wrote my own B/X homage game out of the house rules we collected at our table. Not every idea we collected has an acknowledgement for its originator, mostly because we have forgotten which blogger thought of which thing.

So.

Given that there are ideas that are pretty much ripped straight from other people

And given that if I published this, that might be plagiarism

I won't publish it.

However I could post it here I guess, with the caveat that I am definitely not taking credit for any particular idea included.

Yes, don't be a bloody tease. Put it in or get out of the seat!
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

If you note that those ideas are not your own, then it's not plagiarism.

I like Arminius's  attitude. We won't tell. It's not like RPGSite is actually relavent or something more insane.

Very nicely done home rule booklets. :)

I understand giving the Dane axe +1 dmg for 2 handed use but why +1 to hit?

Thank you. Good question. It's just a good weapon. I like to give unbalanced advantages sometimes.

Thanks for sharing this with us! It's pretty cool.

EDIT: At one point - you'll know which -, I was fully expecting an entire chapter titled A Nomenclature of Heraldry.

Thank you, Scott.

Anyone care to summarize the differences from S&W/LL? If I ever publish one of these that's what it'll be: a diff file.

I like the picture of the Valkyrie on the dragon. Original?

Oh! Neat!  No, it's Frank Frazetta I think.

Hey, Scott -- I assume that Treasure Hunters is the rules set that you were discussing in the other thread. I can look at the files linked above but don't seem to be able to download them. Am I doing something wrong or are you keeping them protected?
