I just joined the RPG Site and thought you guys might want to visit my blog where I post recaps from various old school RPGs and game art from my days of working for ICE as a freelance cartographer/artist back in the mid to late nineties:

Cool maps and art.
Hail and wellmet Iguana...allways loved the ICE style of maps etc. I still snatch up the older "Shadow World" stuff when available to scalp the maps for other systems.
Great work and thanks for posting these!

No problem, I enjoyed drawing these back in the day and am happy to share them at this point. Thanks for the compliments. I'll post more at the blog from time to time and will give you guys a head's up here when I do.
I've played a fair bit of MERP back in the day but I've never read or owned any of these supplements.
These maps are absolutely amazing, and I hope I get to use them in the near future. Thank you for sharing them, and please keep up the good work.
:)
Welcome to the RPGsite. The cartography of Moria was one of my favorites. Just the vast scale with the well done detail of the larger halls and areas of interest. We never played MERP in those days, but we used the books and modules extensively as reference materials for our D&D games.
Gaming seems alive and well, despite the naysayers, and there is plenty of business to do with people interested in trying out new games. There are also plenty of new gaming companies as well... Just keep going and you should have a customer base in a year to eighteen months or so. About half the gamers at my old school convention games this year were under the age of 25.
Good Luck. Look forward to seeing some of your new works!
This reminds me that I'm very sad that MERP.com is no longer hosting all the old books.
Great work, Iguana! :D
I really like the Osgiliath map. Gives a real sense of the size of the river.
