This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hi to all the new people!

Or for those designing something, what sort of things are people working on?

I just started work on a planetary romance setting/game.  More towards the low fantasy/sword and sandal elements than spaceships and blasters.   Primitive worlds with high-tech infrastructure and artifacts that the natives aren't entirely responsible for (sort of like Roadside Picnic)

Sounds good :) I'm fond of a few things in the genre fiction wise. Never tried roleplaying it, though there was a thread awhile back in here about a free game in the genre - Under the Moons of Zoon - which I quite liked (despite making an ass of myself in the thread in question:o).

Roadside Picnic is pretty cool too. You probably know already but I should mention there was apparently an RPG based off that  too?-
