This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

This was a normal (OK, munchkin) 3.5 game. 40 pt buy with base 10 for attributes, and improved hit point rolls (d10 becomes d4+6, d8 becomes d3+5, d6 is 5-6 and d4 is 3-4). The GM has also reasonably generous with treasure. (All of this was mostly so the GM could whack us with particularly horrible things :)

Background wise Ulthar was the son of a dark elf who fled after their noble house was destroyed in the usual civil warfare. The kingdom was heavily infested with humanoids; he'd worked with the humanoid forces for awhile but later repented his evil ways and tried to be slightly less evil. He was however fairly dodgy (and also an asshole) and was fairly often in trouble due to being bad at lying (no ranks in Bluff, and the player's fault).
He also had thieves' guild connections - one of the other PCs was sent by them to be looked after by him, due to her being hunted by the cult of graz'zt who wanted to use her to get the soulof one of her ancestors.
He was most notable for the demon hand; this was grafted on after the party attacked a necropolitan wizard in the underdark who cast Grim Revenge on Ulthar, the spell that makes one of the victim's hands rip off and animate as a (very small) wight. He was also nearly killed by drowns at one point, and had his skull crushed by the [dark elf] mummy Lord Kotek for insubordination, after having pretended to be his servant, but was revived by the party.
Not his last character sheet (just the one I could find); his party did later help a paladin deal with a major menace to the kingdom (a half-troll, half green dragon) which got him killed; resurrected but minus demon hand sadly when the paladin noticed this (hat of disguise). : (

His best friend apart from the PCs was Snarl, a bugbear rogue also from his time with the humanoids.

I may actually take you up on that offer, if only because I'm turned on by dirty talk.  I won't be scanning in a sheet, sadly, due to geographical concerns, but I may just dredge up one or two characters with some notable play history none the less... from memory so it may be... shaky.
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.

Nice character. :)

The demonic hand thing is cool.  One of my favorite characters had something similar happen; i.e., hand removed due to cursed item and hand of fallen opponent was grafted back onto his arm.

The paladin refusing to revive him with the demonic hand is classic! :)

Thanks. Yeah, paladins. Super annoying, but handy to have around at times. That one in particular was a sort of acting as a sort of GMPC at the time, but I can't complain too much - I was his GM in the previous game and squeezed alot of useful plot juice out of him then.

Alot of my characters seem to be accident prone, or maybe I just like characters with horrible disfigurement more. At one stage I had a half-elf with one testicle (boar critical while running in naked to save another PC), a bard with half a face (though he started with that) and a dwarf two-weapon fighter who started out missing an eye and later lost a hand too, thanks to an archenemy with a sword of sharpness (more or less) written into his background.
