This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I know a few of you guys follow my blog, but I had done some major changes to it.  This is also a good chance to get new followers as well as I try to make these rpg games.  So here is a link to what major changes I had done in my blog.

Here is a link to a setting that I hope can replace the world of darkness for some of you guys.  I call it The Perception Effect.

I made two more posts recently about the Perception Effect.  Though I think the more interesting post would be about Roanoke.

Letting people know I made a additional post.  All it does is add more about Roanoke for the Perception Effect setting.

Slight correction in your first section on Roanoke:
"there are in fact monsters"

The first two setting posts sounds really intriguing, a bit like a mix between the Umbra in oWoD, but perhaps more like the "Truth" in the original version of KULT.
I may not dislike D&D any longer, but I still dislike the Chaos-Lawful/Evil-Good alignment system, as well as the level system.
;)

It is what ever you want it to be.  In the blog post discussing about the setting for the first time I did mention that this could be the characters going mad.  A good slasher plot could be that in which the protagonists believe they are being hunted down by monsters, but were in fact killing innocent people.

Though don't worry as I would provide my version of the Perception Effect which contains its own events, organizations, monsters, and mythologies.  However, it won't be considered default as there is no default version in the Perception Effect.

I do want to present tool sets in how to create your own version of the Perception Effect.  That way if your not happy with my version you can just tweak, or create your own stuff with little hassle.

Yeah I know it been a long time, but I think I found out how vampires could fit in the Perception Effect.  You don't have to follow this and could make up your own vampires.  Though here is a link to the blog post.

Edit:  Made a additional post to explain the intro.

Letting everyone know that I had increase the size of the font to make it easier to read.  Thank you for the constructive criticism.
