This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Okay, I looked at your site.  It's a campaign setting.

Sell me on it.  Why do I care about this campaign setting?

Make me interested in...five sentences.

Hmm lets see

The world is a combination of unique steampunk and magic.
Magic items, spells and artifacts are powered by a substance called Mythinen.
The world of Ebonyr is just exiting a very dark time and the Five Kingdoms have a become a beacon of light in a rather dark world.
Behind the scenes different organizations, good and bad, vie for control of the Five Kingdoms.

As the saying goes, "There's nothing new under the sun", but I plan on going very deep on the construction of this campaign setting. It will allow GM's freedom to take ideas, advance the Ebonyr timeline or cut-n-paste their own ideas.

Thanks, Jackalope, for forcing me to think about the campaign setting in a different way.

Thanks for looking at the site, Aos. I like to find, use and manipulate, Web 2.0 widgets and gadgets. I see so many "static" websites that updated regularly, but don't have have any spark. I plan on starting a podcast and do some video streaming after the first of the year.

My blog has more information on the Web 2.0 programs I use
