wouldn't knoe how to link it but the angry gm had made a pretty long series of articles journalling him building a megadungeon for 5e, i found that pretty instructive
I find the Angry GM's articles really, really helpful. They're practical and actionable. Since you couldn't link to it, I thought I'd assist. You were referring to the Megadungeon Monday (https://theangrygm.com/category/megadungeon/) series. In it, the Angry GM "embarks on a long, long, LOOOONNNGGGG process of building an awesome D&D megadungeon adventure to bring the heroes from 1st to 12th level." There are over 30 articles in total.
On the low/no prep end of the spectrum, I have a little web page (free, no ads) that rolls up thousands of images. Roll a geomorph for the room, roll a few fantasy icons for the contents, maybe add a rune or additional dice, and go.
