This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Shifting gears, backing up a bit, and starting to put together a rough history for the world.

I'm curious, if anyone care to chime in, if i should keep all Dunfalcon in one thread, or split it up based on area - Maps, History, Regions, etc.?

I think it'd be easier to read if it was split up into different threads - unless you're gonna do a map of an area, then the history, peoples etc of that area - which would work, done in the same thread. (yeah, i'm not much help :haw: )

Wirmarch - good name !

I split the history into another thread over at D20 Haven, and added more text for the history - basically covering the time between when the Wir began to settle the Wirmarch, and when the Empire of the Tyurge and the Callois Empire are brought to ruin...

Comments, as always, are welcome!

EDIT: a small change in the migration map led to a slight change in the history. Oh - anyone catch my naming homage to a vocal member of this board? ;)

Yep, and so far it's great. :D

(Y'know they are times when i'm on this site and i feel truly spoilt - all this good stuff !)

For those interested, I took some great input from Rob and mixed it into the pot.  So I have what I consider the base version of the brief history from the rise of early civilization to the downfall of the Tyurgen and Callois empires.

As I say over in the thread at D20 Haven, I'm going to let this bit stew and move on to the post-ruin history.

As always, comments are welcome!

Alright, folks.  For those of you keeping score, it's been about three weeks since I last posted. I apologize, but work was seriously kicking my ass.  Unfortunately, I have a feeling it will be that way until....August!

Of course, this means that the previous version sat long enough to be completely rewritten - again. This version goes a bit further and has a preface about the Duarb and the Ilben (think of the 'b' as a 'v'  ;)  ). so, without further ado - Here it is!

EDIT: And please, I'm begging for comments ;) There is preferred, here's fine too!
