This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

It's been a long, strange trip to this point, but the universe has finally aligned and the Iron Gamers Guild once again are meeting weekly to play out the Savage Tide Adventure Path as detailed in Dungeon Magazine.

The significantly longer AP thread can be found here, and I think it is an entertaining read (mostly because I wrote the damn thing).  However, seeing that myself and the DM are the only ones in the now five person group that were around for the better part of the campaign, we have done a "hard reset."

We have picked up the campaign where it was left off with the assumption that the following catch-up by the DM will bring everyone up to speed.

All the characters are fresh for the restart to coincide with this (along with some of my thoughts here as to why I wanted to change characters).

The campaign is using the D&D 3.5 rules with the following houserules in effect:
Armor as DR
Defense Bonus
Hero Points
Quasi Vitality Points/Wound Points

With that, there be spoilers ahead for the Savage Tide!
