Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Sean,
Well, the garbage idea came from the concept that most Sci Fi is moralizing. And that the space gelatinous cubes wouldn't exist if we weren't polluting space, you know?

ah...smart *taps nose*..good thinking!

also...Gelatinous Dudes. Well maybe their race has a weird name or classification (Species F73A) but they are basically humanoid shaped and absorb living creatures by hugging them and enveloping them (saving throw to get out of initial 'hug'.)  - to be used as zombies as an alternative to robots. After envelopment the victim dies and loses his flesh then bones.

I love the Space Lich!  Then you can have The Derelict of Horrors!

"Feed off fear" sounds good.   I am always interested in monsters that do something other than just direct damage.

Androids were my liches, but I can do some other less ahem "skiffy" monsters..(I'm working on them :D)  I do like things that feed on fear.

Have you seen the wargame AT-43 by Rackham?  Take a peek at the Therians for some android inspiration.

This is kinda how I envision a Space Lich.
