This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

My group of long time friends and I gather occasionally for what we call Mancation.  It is a weekend where the guys get together to play games, drink, smoke, talk shit, and eat.  Naturally, this includes role-playing sessions as well.

Anyway, as a gift I have some special dice created to commemorate this year's Mancation event.  I purchased the dice from http://www.customdice.com/ and had a great experience so I thought I share it. :)

There were seven of us there this year so I gave everyone a set of six of the dice.

It was $1.25 USD for each die and shipping for all 42 dice was $8 USD.  I conducted the whole transaction via email and it went smoothly and effortlessly.  Also, the dice were completed and shipped within a few days.

I kind of waffled the number of dice to give each person.  Just two dice is lame since you can't make up a character in one roll.  Then I thought of three dice each, but most dice rolling for characters lately usually is 4d6-L so I discarded that number as well.  I thought four dice would be a good number, but then I remembered that most d6 packs are usually in sets of six or twelve dice so I went with six dice for each person.
