This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hello. :)

For months I have been working up some ideas for what, hopefully, might turn out to be a complete game. For now I've started putting my setting ideas into a blog.

Check the link in my sig.

Thanks!

Interesting; I see that you mention Weapons of the Gods and Qin as inspirations.  Is there a specific system you envision for playing in this setting?

well, for one i wish i'd thought of some of the ideas in WotG :D

Both are pretty good games which I'm reading right now, but as for a system well I intend, eventually, to create my own (since it's probably the same amount of work as converting from either of those or any other, and id like to do it anyway). I'm also not a fan of generic systems since I believe settings are best served by unique systems tailored specifically. I think that's a trait shared by all the best rpg's i've played. However the priority is to nail the setting before all else, so it's not really that important for the moment.
