This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Life after people is hard for those the survived inside the cryo chambers, and you are one of them.

I made this RPG myself in my spare time but it is not really started yet.
I have based it on off the the show Life after people and the online game space project. I only took the Ideas of remaking society from the online game and the statistics of how the earth would be in a life after people from the show, everything else is completely original. What I relly need help with is the user manual. Please help!

SO....these are humans or their desendants who have been in space and now have to explore and re-populate the Earth?

Is that the idea of what you're going for?

I thought that Star Ocean was a console game franchise with unfinished anime and manga.

Yah that's what I was thinking of when I wrote the title. The RPG is called Star Quest and it's completely diffrent.

If anyone has any suggestions for the rule book let me know.

At this point and time, we know almost nothing about your game with which to give feedback on.
The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

Well this is my first RPG and I only have a vage knowladge on how to do this. That is why I am asking for help.

Well, the way I learn is to write a RPG until I realize it's fatally flawed, then go and write another one based on that experience.
It's the brute-force method of learning.

In the end, though, no-one else can tell you how you write best and no-one else can tell you what RPGs you write best.

Well, maybe not literally. But I'm fairly certain random people on the internet don't know your personal tastes well enough to even make a suggestion.

For me, though, I get the best results just writing the RPG, rather than over-planning.
