This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hello fellow forumfolks,

I am a stubborn and ambitious lad who is creating a new kind of table-top RPG called Late Legends (LL).

The idea started off simple: Put some game systems from newer video games and try to apply them in a table top game. Make it balanced, fair and provide lot's of customization while putting the players in more in control of the story. They are the Legends, while the "DM" serves more as a storyteller.

This project quickly ran wild as we kept creating new classes and ways to play the game. It has been an amazing experience to create this in my spare time together with my close friends the last 3 years. At this point I am looking for feedback.

I am hoping some veterans out here would like to take a peek into LL as a game system and could help me develop it further. Keep in mind that this project has become way too large for me to fully finish yet, so a lot might still be missing. The big bulk of content I have at the moment focusses on Legend Creation and playing a Legend.

All feedback is very welcome but please be nice. All information about Late Legends can be found on: http://latelegends.com

I thank you very much for your time.

I see three: "magus sniper," "master of cats," and "sly sword."

Just to name a few of our wacky ideas yes :) How do you like them, or what is your favorite class so far? (disregarding stat specifics and mechanics for now)

Oh, I didn't get much past the introduction: "Late Legends is a role-playing system where you play a self-created fairytale or an epic adventure. Late Legends features systems, guidelines, and rules to shape your story. By using Late Legends, you can play an interactive story with your friends. In a group, there is one Storyteller, which is the one that creates and tells the story."

All the references to story creation tipped me off that it's not my cup of tea. I wish you success, though.

No worries, may I ask what is it specifically that you dislike?
If not thank you for your time anyways.
