I suppose it's about time that AEON revealed its true colours. Brought to you by Ganbat Badamkhand (yes, you're right about the inspiration behind it). B-)
AEON Cover Art Preview (https://viletraveller.wordpress.com/2011/11/22/aeon-cover-art/)
I love the cover, and I am thrilled to see a RQ2 retro-clone.
But didn't some other company already get into trouble trying to publish a RPG called Aeon, a few years ago?
Thanks for the kind words. :)
AEON is not exactly an RQ2 retro-clone, in that it cleans up a lot of inconsistencies in the rules and tries to avoid too many different approaches to task resolution. The D100II SRD, on the other hand, is very much a retro-clone. And you can download it free of charge from the BRP Central website.
That would be White Wolf with Aeon Trinity. The Aeon Flux people thought idiots might be confused between an SF cartoon and an SF roleplaying game, so WW decided to change their game's name. It would be tricky to be idiotic enough to confuse an SF cartoon and an ancient fantasy RPG, but I'm certainly open to out-of-court offers ... :D
Thanks for the clarifications, and best of luck with Aeon! Let us know when it comes out.
The name is gonna depend on if the new Aeon Flux show actually happens or not as at the moment they're touting the idea around anime studio's in Japan and Korea...it may never happen but i figured you'd be better off knowing about this just in case :)
Cover looks really cool though and hopefully sells really well.
Once I got past the "Cool cover", I had to wonder why the dude was aiming at the armoured portion of the centuar.

She's not. You'll find out more once you read the combat example. ;)

Specifically, the owners of Aeon Flux already sued White Wolf for a game named "AEON" and won. The fact that your game isn't science fiction might make it OK, but you might want to think about whether or not you want to take the risk.
Great-looking cover.

Hmm...She might be aiming at the neck.
