This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Today the surviving High Elves are an endangered species, xenophobic and still dealing with the fallout of their disease. The Wild Elves thrived in the "new world" across the ocean but now are violently clashing with human settlers from their old homeland. The Sky Elves ended up heavily intermingling with the humans of the Isles and as such are essentially all half-elves. They get their name from their riding mastery of wyvern-like creatures of the Isles. The Dark Elves have remained underground and mostly keep to themselves, defending their homes from the various evil races of the Underdark.

Humans, Half-Orcs & Dwarves
Unchanged from how they're portrayed in the core book.

Gnomes
Straight rip from Pathfinder because I like what they did with them.

Half-Elves
Much like core but with tweaked mechanics depending on which Elven faction they were born from.

Halflings
While there are a few small and hidden communities out there, most Halflings are slaves. When the gods created them they were supposed to be the prototype for Humans but they failed to impress the chief god and he cast them aside. The god of thieves, however, took the race under his wing in secret. Today, they're mistrusting of most and generally hate humans. Those who are free devote their lives to freeing their enslaved brothers and sisters.
