This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

A contest, of sorts: What sort of setting can I write by tonight?

Too sharpen my writing skills and provide amusement, I'm going to write up a (Small) setting, completing at 12:00 Midnight.

Afterwards, I will post it to the verbal shredder known as theRPGsite, whereupon you can all tell me what's wrong with it. :)

Times will be logged in and out here, for breaks and such.

 - Apparently, it is possible to stick the Vista Recycle Bin in the Recycle Bin. I have now lost my recycle bin.
The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

That's kind of like putting a Bag of Holding in a Portable Hole, isn't it?
Obvious troll is obvious. RIP, Bill.

Well, almost. No real danger, though - You just go into your 'Destop icons' panel and re-load it.

I have achieved my initial goals. This is suprising to me, as I have never really written such a thing up - I did a small, brief write-up for the first and second Baseline playtests - But I achieved my initial goals in one hour, 48 minutes.

So - I have nearly seven hours left, not counting breaks. Opening up it up for criticisms and suggestions here; let's see how much more I can/should get in.

Edit: It's system-neutral.

An embarrassingly large number of spelling errors fixed; my Open Office spellcheck had become broken and I merrily assumed there were none. Given that I'm not a great speller, I should have checked further (Oops).

Hey Narf, I was tempted to do mini review as part of the free rpg blog! do you have the PDF still? If you're not sure what to do with it, how about uploading it to 1KM1KT?

I've decided to edit a bit and throw it up on RPGnow for a buck. :) So I'll see how that goes.

But thanks anyway.
